Liebedich, Wachau

(Grüner Veltliner)

The name of this wine is program, whereby the grapes of the vintages 2012 and 2013 come from different terrace vineyards with partly old vines (Bruck, Schön, Buschenberg, Hochrain, Loibenberg etc). In each case the quantities were too small to fill them separately. However, these are sites for potential top quality, mostly on primary rock.

From the 2014 vintage onwards, the wine also contains grapes from the flat Unterloibner site KREUTLES, which will no longer be bottled as a separate site wine from 2014 onwards. Thus, from now on, the LIEBEDICH is my classic, authentic "Wachauer", which in each case represents the typical vintage characteristics of the region in a way that encourages drinking.
